SNICKER DOODLES

Here’s a recipe for Buzz and Guy’s favorite cookies. I make these all the time and they are GREAT! - SW

1 cup shortening

1 1/2 cups sugar

2 eggs

Sift and stir in:

2 3/4 cups flour

2 tsp cream of tartar (this is important)

1 tsp baking soda

Chill. Roll into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll these balls in 2 tablespoons of white sugar, mixed with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.
